Unusually delicious pepper grinder

Nice pepper grinder from the 1960s in fine quality.
The grinder is in solid rosewood with a handle in rosewood, mounted with a small brass pin. It is filled from below and turned around to be used.

It has a small chip on the edge, but is otherwise in good condition.

We have never had a pepper grinder with this construction before.
