Complete set of Kay Bojesen guards

Description: Height 22 cm.

Nice original set of soldiers, guards by Kay Bojesen drawn in 1940.
They were originally designed and produced for the celebration of King Christian the 10th's 70th birthday in 1940.

The set consists of standard bearer, guards with saber, guards with rifle and guards with drum.
Garder with saber is in very good condition, although a little bleached on the back.
Garder with rifle has some wear on the right arm and side.
Garder with drum slight color difference on drum and left foot.
The flag bearer has a sun-bleached flag and a mark on the back.

The set is generally in exceptionally good condition - it has only been used as decoration since 1960 when it was bought by the previous owner.

They are all stamped on the inside of the leg - Kay Bojesen Copyright Denmark.
