Description: Height 29 cm. with prop.

Note that the stopper and carafe are marked with the same number, 24. This means that the two parts are polished exactly to fit each other.
This is only seen on high quality crystal products.
Christian the 9th is one of Holmegaard's Belgian import services from Val Saint Lambert.
The service appears in the catalog from 1917, but is discontinued before World War II.

The carafe is sanded with olivine cut around, over which there are two rows of small stars.

It is in good condition, the stopper has a few minor dents.
