Very rare vase by Per Lütken

Description: Height 17.5 cm.
The vase was designed by Per Lütken in the 1950s, but unfortunately not cataloged as a serial product. There are some other items in the same style and technique in Holmegaard's test collection as well as some drawings by Per Lütken's hand.

Per Lütken was hired at Holmegaard in 1941 without knowing much about the possibilities of the glass, so the first many years went by with experiments and smaller series being launched, like this black and turquoise series. Per Lütken wanted to explore the "mathematical expression" in the glass and designed a series of vases and cups from the basic mathematical forms, most often cones.
