Rare Holmegaard vase with Thorvaldsen motif

Description: Height 15.5 cm.

The vase is signed Holmegaard 1963.
The vase was designed by Per Lütken in the early 1960s for Holmegaard Glassworks.
It is engraved by Erling Jensen with Bertel Thorvaldsen's motif of Summer, also called Youth.
Vases have been produced with all four seasons, and they are all very rare today.

The vase is in good condition with an old crack, from the production, in the foot.
This has no bearing on the use of the vase.
