Poniatowski decanter from Holmegaard

Description: Height 33 cm incl stopper.

It have a bit of coating at the bottom.

It is marked with a number on decanter and stopper - this was only done on items where the two parts were sanded to fit each other. Most often on finer crystal products that should not have a sanded belt where the stopper was.
The decanter is made of crystal glass and have a nice sound and good weight to it.
It has long facets on the corpus divided by a smooth belt for a firm grip.
The facets continues up on the stopper - a so-called table stopper, as it is flat at the top and can stand on the table without dripping on the table cloth.

The decanter is in Holmegaard Glassworks catalog from 1928 and is taken out of before World War II.
In this it is called Poniatowski.
