The bowl is caramel color.
The Rainbow Series was designed for Holmegaard by Michael Bang in 1970. The series was in ongoing production until 1976, where it was discontinued along with The Palette and The Carnaby Series.

The bowl was originally designed as a lid for the series’ bonbonniere.
