Knipling white wine glass

Description: Height 14 cm.
Knipling was first designed in 1922 by Oluf Jensen for Holmegaard Glaswork in collaboration with Royal Copenhagen as a glass to match the Blue Fluted dinnerware. The glass was sold in a decorated version and this none-decorated version. The decorated version is with a blue fluted decoration and is today extremely rare.

The glass was relaunched in 1982, with Michael Bang as designer, as minor adjustments were made to the design.

The glass has an optical twist in the cuppa as the only decoration.
