The Moser Glassworks was founded in 1857 by Ludwig Moser in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic.
The glassworks participates in world exhibitions in 1879, 1893, 1899, 1900 in respectively. Paris and Chicago.
In 1904, Moser was appointed the supplier of glass to the Imperial Glass Supplier by Franz Joseph I, the Emperor of Austria-Hungary. Just four years later, the glassworks is named Royal Court Supplier to the English Court and King Edward 7.

The carafe is mouth-blown crystal glass with wide facets ground on the neck and lower body. The stopper is grounded to fit the decanter perfectly, se matching numbers, no. 75. This means that the individual stopper is ground to the individual carafe so that it fits precisely.
