Deep purple glas vase

Description: Height 16.5 cm.
The vase is from the beginning of the turn of the century and in a fine deep purple color - very difficult to capture on a picture.

At Holmegaard Glassworks, a number of these dark purple vases were produced, where they later were fitted with pewter decorations. These vases are said to be designed by Jacob E. Bang.
This vase may well have avoided this fate.

The vase is in very good condition.
