Large Capri vase by Jacob E. Bang for Kastrup Glasswork

Description: Height 21.5 cm.
Jacob E. Bang designed Capri in 1961 for Kastrup Glassworks. The series is already taken out of production in 1973.
It consists of vases, pitchers, drinking glasses and bowls. More than 50 different items have been in production.

This vase is with a pontil mark at the bottom, driven up and has an optical twist, which creates a nice illusion in the glass.
