York was designed by Per Lütken in 1949 for Holmegaard Glasswork.

It is seen for the first time in connection with Kaj Bojesen's exhibition at the Kunst Industrimuseet in Copenhagen in 1949. The decanter has since been re-designed several times.
This is one of the early flat models.

It is in very good condition.
