Description: Height 22 cm.
Diameter 22 cm. at the handles.

The one is with a large drying crack.
The jars are made of wood that is black-painted. Ribbons, handles and knob are of brass.

The jars are very decorative and can be used for storing everything from the knitwear to sweets. Originally they have been to tea or tobacco. As both of these things absorb moisture, they have some drying cracks.

They both appear in nice condition with some chips in the black lacquer.
They are manufactured in 1900-1910 most likely inFrance.
