Description: Painted Plate in terracotta from Peter Ipsen, Copenhagen. Design of Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) with "Hercules receives immortality potion of Hebe". Have a few small chips. Made around 1870. Factory marks on the back with P. Ipsen and model number. Dimensions: 22½ cm in diameter.
