Louis Maria Niels Peder Moe (1857 - 1945) Danish-Norwegian Painter and illustrator. Educated at the Danish Academy of Art from 1876 under (F.Vermeheren & Joergen Roed). Learned etching by Carl Locher and studied oil painting under L. Tuxen. Exhibitions in Norway, Charlottenborg & Brussels etc. He made about 160 different etchings. Many all over the world love his fabulous illustrations of books and cover's among others: H.C. Andersen, Saxo, Holger Drachmann and his own Children's book.
