Hand-painted porcelain lunch plates in the classic Blue Onion pattern. The set consists of two plates decorated in underglaze blue and marked with the Meissen crossed swords. First quality.

Meissen Porcelain was founded in 1710 in the town of Meissen, Saxony, and is regarded as the first porcelain manufactory in Europe. The company is world-renowned for its hand-painted porcelain of exceptional quality, and the crossed swords mark has been in continuous use since the 1720s, making it one of the oldest trademarks in the world.
