Bio:
Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) was a Finnish-Swedish ceramicist and designer educated at the School of Arts and Crafts in Helsinki. She worked for Upsala Ekeby from 1949 to 1972 and became known for her colourful figurines, decorative ceramics and experimental glazes, establishing her as one of the most significant designers in Swedish mid-century ceramics.
