Decorative stoneware vase in an organic form with a matte, textured brown lower body, a band with white circular accents, and a glossy glaze gradient in pale green tones. Interior finished with a deep cobalt blue glaze, creating an elegant visual contrast.

Bio:
Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) was one of the leading designers at Upsala Ekeby from the 1950s to the 1970s. Her work is known for its vivid glazes, graphic decoration and artistic play with form and texture. Many of her pieces were produced in small editions, making them highly desirable collector’s items today.
