Hand-thrown small stoneware bowl with an elegant rounded form and characteristic warm yellow tenmoku glaze. Classic Friberg micro-glaze texture with small glaze bubbles from firing (see photo).

Bio:
Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was one of Sweden’s most celebrated studio ceramicists, renowned for his perfectly thrown forms and refined tin-glazes. Each piece was crafted with near-obsessive precision, and his works are today considered icons of Scandinavian modern design.
