Bio:
The Murashido technique is a traditional Japanese enamel process developed in the Taishō and early Shōwa era, where the metal surface is treated with layered pigmented glaze and heat oxidation. The result is a luminous metallic colour play, often in gold and copper hues. Pieces from this period were typically made in small atelier productions and are today considered scarce collector’s items.
