Suzanne Ramié is best known as the founder of the Madoura ceramic workshop in Vallauris, and the magnificent collaboration they undertook with Pablo Picasso, creating the wonderful and extensive works of Picasso ceramics.
Suzanne Ramie was one of the key figures in the ceramic community of Vallauris. In 1938, Suzanne and her husband Georges Ramie moved to Vallauris and established the Madoura workshop.
Her ceramics are known for their clean lines and colorful glazed enamels.
