Rare tulip glass from Holmegaard

Description: Height 9.5 cm.
Tulip glass is first seen in Holmegaard Glasværk's catalog from 1867 and where it is offered for the last time in the catalog from 1915.
They are offered in at least six colors and with gilded decoration, which was offered at double the price, of which these are very rare today.
This glass is cobalt blue and painted with an bort ala grecque in gold as well as lines in gold.
The glass is mouth-blown and with a polished pontil underneath, though with remnants of its snapped pontil.
The glass is in good condition, with a little expected wear on the gold decoration and dullness in the glass.
